Editor, publisher, researcher, teacher

I have a PhD on the history of editing and publishing in Australia from ANU. In 2010 I co-founded Seizure, a platform for new writing, which ran an annual novella competition for a decade. Over the past fifteen years I have worked in trade publishing in Australia at Allen & Unwin, Murdoch, Giramondo and Brio Books where I was Associate Publisher. I have presented and run workshops at festivals and conferences in China, India and around Australia and have taught editing at the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Melbourne. Currently I am Managing Editor of Australia Institute Press.
